Cranberry Twp, PA - The North Catholic Trojans (2-2,1-0) look to ride the momentum from their 19-0 shutout win over the Highlands Golden Rams as they ride into Kiski Area High School Friday night. A game that was dominated defensively by the Trojans from start to finish, they held the Golden Rams to a measly 110 yards of offense, by far the lowest output against the Trojans this year. However, the Trojans have work to do on offense as it is clear they were not satisfied with their inability to finish in the redzone with two turnovers on downs and a good number of points left off the board. The Cavaliers of Kiski are yet again struggling to find their footing as they are 1-3 on the season and 0-1 in conference play. The Cavaliers fell 35-26 to Greater Allegheny Conference foe Hampton 35-26 last week and are looking to rebound before the season starts to slip away. The Cavaliers have struggled to contain teams offensively as they are allowing an average of 34 points per game. On the flip side, the Trojans are putting up 27 points per game on offense. This game will come down to explosive plays. If the Trojans are able to break through early with some big touchdowns this game won't be close. However, if Kiski is able to force the Trojans to put together long drives down the field this game will come down to the wire. I expect it to be a dogfight, as both teams are desperate for a win as the conference is as tight as it gets early in the season. Kickoff is at 7pm at Kiski Area High School, and it will be a fun one.
Tonight's game will be live streamed starting at 6:45pm.
