Claysville, PA – The North Catholic Trojans were away at McGuffey High School this past Friday taking on the Highlanders. After coming off a dominating win at home against the Quaker Valley Quakers 38-0, they looked to carry this offensive explosion into the game.
The Game – Junior QB Joey Felitsky started the game completing 8 of 8 passes for 88 yards. One of those passes being to Junior WR Ryker Kennedy for a 31-yard touchdown. Felitsky, however, would suffer an ankle injury calling in Junior Tom Arth for his debut as QB. Arth ran for 3 touchdowns and threw for another. He had a 57-yard pass connecting to Kennedy who had 4 catches for 125 yards. In the second half, Tom Arth went 4 of 5 for 104 yards. On the defensive side, Junior SAFE Reid Rinker and Sophomore CB Will Waskiewicz each had an interception. Senior DE Brady O'Hara had 4 tackles. The Trojans would again blowout their opponent this time defeating McGuffey 42-0.
The big win put the Trojans first in the 3A Western Hills Conference with an overall record of 3-2 and a conference record of 2-0. Their next game is at home this Friday against Imani Christian Academy at 7:00pm at Lt. J.C. Stone Field.
