Cranberry Twp. PA –The North Catholic Trojans (5-1, 2-0) were handed their first loss of the season last week against the Imani Christian Saints, 36-16. The slow start for the Saints gave the Trojans a chance to take the early lead. QB Joey Felitsky hit WR Preston Simko for a pair of touchdown drives of 35 and 37 yards. Ahead 16-0 in the second quarter, North Catholic struggled to put up points as Imani’s interior defense took control. The Saints put up an unanswered 36 points in the comeback victory while holding the Trojans to negative rushing yards. Gabe Jenkins and David Davis teamed up for over 200 rushing yards combined, leading the Saints.

The Central Valley Warriors (2-4, 2-1) also lost their game last week to the Avonworth Antelopes, 34-6. The Warriors defense struggled to contain the Lopes offense, giving up 157 rushing yards alone to RB Dimitri Velisaris. For Central Valley, QB Braddock Ambrose threw for 135 yards and ran for the team’s only touchdown.

The Trojans and Warriors will face off this Friday in a Western Hills Conference matchup at Lieutenant J.C. Stone Field. Kickoff is at 7:00pm. Coverage begins at 6:50pm on the North Catholic Sports Network.

• No re-entry to Lt. JC Stone Field once the game starts. 
• No outside food, beverage, or alcohol.

• No large bags or backpacks
