Cranberry Twp, PA - The North Catholic Trojans took on the 
Blackhawk Cougars at home after another blowout win in Week 1 against Knoch, 69-10. Riding a two-game win streak, the Trojans looked to extend one of their best starts to a season they have had in the last couple years. The Cougars were an even 1-1 coming into the game, with a most recent loss to Beaver, 38-21.
To start, the game went down as the top five all-time in scoring in the 
WPIAL. Both teams combined for 16 touchdowns, 44 first downs, 1,158 yards of offense, and 818 rushing yards. Most of these rushing yards were split by Trojans' senior RB Logan 
Schade and Cougars' RB Brayden McCarthy. 
Schade rushed for 344 yards on 20 carries and scored on runs of 63, 66, 60, and 11 yards. McCarthy rushed for 301 yards on 23 carries and scored 3 touchdowns.
Aside from the running game, senior QB 
Joey Felitsky had a perfect night on offense. He was 11 for 11 for 235 yards and 4 touchdowns. 
Felitsky connected with senior WR Preston 
Simko on two touchdowns and with senior TE 
Tom Arth and junior WR Will 
Waskiewicz for a touchdown each. Another dominate game led to a Trojan victory, 65-49.
North Catholic, now 3-0, will face the Quaker Valley Quakers (2-1) Friday, September 12
th at Chuck Knox Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:00pm.
