FLAG FOOTBALL
North Catholic 59, Mars Area 38

The Trojan flag football offense exploded for 59 points in a high-powered victory over Mars.
- Simone Sharpless delivered a phenomenal performance, scoring six total touchdowns (five rushing, one receiving).
- Lizzie Fabian added three more TDs, two on the ground and one through the air.
- Gabby Valentine connected for two touchdown passes, providing consistent play under center.
- Defensively, Naomi Wentz anchored the unit with a strong outing.

GIRLS LACROSSE

SOFTBALL
New Castle 11, North Catholic 6

Despite outhitting New Castle (9 hits to 7), the Trojanettes fell in a high-scoring matchup highlighted by several lead changes.
Offensive standouts included:
- Mary Kotwica, Addy Gray, and Dakota Hicks, each with two hits.
- Kennedy Brown delivered a 2-RBI double during a five-run fifth inning that temporarily gave North Catholic a 5–4 lead.
Brown also pitched 5.1 innings, striking out 11. The defense was perfect with zero errors, led by
Clare Kotwica's team-high 11 defensive chances.
BASEBALL

In one of the week's biggest highlights, Senior Peyton Varley and Junior Landon Eifler combined to throw a no-hitter in a 5-inning run-rule victory. Offensively, Luca Guzowski powered the lineup, going 4-for-4 as the Trojans exploded for 13 runs.
