Cranberry Twp, PA - Trojan's soccer had another successful week! The Trojan's played back-to-back matches against the Shadyside Bulldogs resulting in two pivotal wins on the season. On September 10, the Trojans played the Bulldogs on the road which resulted in a 5-0 victory. The first half consisted of no goals for either side of the play while the second comprised of five in the Trojan's favor. The goals were scored by Arthur Mendonca (2), Justin Garvey (1), Angelo Amelio (1), and Gabe Nonino (1) followed by assists from Brody Kennedy (2), Gannon Pappas (1), and Michael Riely (1). Notable performance by the backline anchored by Gannon Pappas and Adam Mashuda along with Drew Schedlbauer for the shutout.

September 14^th, the Trojan's had their second match against the Bulldogs that resulted in another victory 2-1. In the first half, the Bulldogs went up by 1 as they scored with 12 seconds left. In the second half, the Trojan's fought back as Austin English scored an unassisted goal in the first five minutes followed by rebound goal off Gabe Nonino shot and Justin Garvey's finish for the game winner. It was another great section win for the Trojan's between two quality teams. Next week, the Trojan's take on opponents Leechburg and Valley.
