Cranberry Twp. PA – The North Catholic Trojans had two pivotal match-ups over the holiday break after coming off their biggest win of the season over the #1 Moon Tigers 5-1 and beating the Indiana Indians 2-1 in a shootout—who knocked them out of the playoffs last year. The Trojans were on the road facing off against the Butler Golden Tornadoes at Frozen Pond Arena and the West Allegheny Indians at Baierl Ice Complex. North Catholic pulled out a win over Butler 2-1 after a scoreless first period. Starting off the New Year right, the Trojans beat West Allegheny 6-2, with 10 different players contributing on the score sheet.

Anthony Neely gave the Trojans a quick goal to take the lead 2-1. After staying disciplined in the 3
rd, the Trojans hauled out a win over the Tornadoes with a final score of 2-1. Freshman G

West Allegheny 1/6/2025 – Trojans' Freshman F
Bryce Radeke got the scoring started a minute into the first period, which put North Catholic ahead early 1-0. Shortly after, Senior F

Bryce Radeke gave the Trojans a commanding 4-0 lead over the Indians in the 2
nd period. West Allegheny finally got an answer with a goal from F Maddox Luketic, cutting the deficit to three. North Catholic took charge again the 3
rd with a goal from Junior F
Miles Robinson making it a 5-1 game. Freshman F
Landon Meyers added to the lead with another goal late in the period. Indians' F John Wineland with a last effort made it 6-2, but the Trojans were able to pull out another big win. G
Darren Riley got the start again stopping 14 of 16 shots on net with a .875 SV%.
