Cranberry Twp, PA - The Trojans and Trojanettes delivered an impressive stretch of performances across multiple sports this week, highlighted by dominant wins and strong individual showings.
Boys Tennis Continues to Roll
Boys tennis remained unbeaten during the week, opening with a commanding 5–0 sweep of Highlands on March 23. Justin Garvey, Alex Weber, and Jake Sinclair each posted straight-set victories in singles, while both doubles teams cruised without dropping a game.
Two days later, the Trojans edged Hampton 3–2 in a tightly contested matchup. Garvey again led the way at first singles, while Weber rebounded after a first-set loss to secure a three-set win that proved decisive in the team victory.
The Trojans capped the week with another dominant performance on March 27, sweeping Springdale 5–0, once again showcasing depth and consistency across both singles and doubles play.
Baseball Splits Series with Ambridge
On the diamond, the Trojans experienced both sides of competition in a two-game stretch against Ambridge.
The Trojans were shut out 4–0 on March 24 despite solid at-bats from sophomores Matthew Madonna and Mathew Curtis, who each recorded a hit.
The team responded emphatically on March 27 with a 6–4 victory, evening the series. Sophomores Matthew Curtis and Landon Petok combined on the mound, with Curtis earning the win and Petok closing out the save. Senior Ryker Kennedy paced the offense with a key three-run triple, providing the offensive spark needed to secure the win.
Softball Dominates Behind Solid Pitching
The Trojanettes delivered one of the week's most dominant performances, blanking Ambridge 9–0 on March 25 at No Off Season.
Kennedy Brown was outstanding in the circle, striking out 18 batters while allowing just one hit over seven scoreless innings. Brown also contributed offensively, helping the team jump out to an early lead .
The Trojanettes collected 11 hits, stole nine bases, worked seven walks, and did not commit an error in a complete team effort. Clare Kotwica drove in two runs, while multiple players posted multi-hit performances as the Trojanettes controlled the game from start to finish.
Track Teams Pile Up Points
The track and field teams enjoyed a dominant meet on March 24 against Apollo-Ridge and Leechburg.
The sweep highlighted the program's depth across events and continued a strong early-season showing for both squads.

On the girls side, the Trojanettes earned a 13–9 win over Seton LaSalle on March 26. Kate Geary led the offense with four goals, while Maddie Hill anchored the defense with eight saves in goal. Contributions across the lineup helped secure another quality win.
Boys Volleyball Sweeps Beaver County Christian
Closing out the stretch, boys volleyball delivered a straight-set victory over Beaver County Christian on March 26, winning 25-22, 25-20, and 25-22. The clean sweep showed strong execution in tight sets and continued momentum for the Trojans.
