Cranberry Twp, PA - The girls got the job done this week! The North Catholic Girls Soccer team earned a big road win over Shady Side Academy on Monday October 7. The Trojanettes defeated the Bulldogs, 1-0, in overtime. Simone Sharpless scored the game winning goal off a penalty kick. Another shutout was recorded for the backline and the GK, Marina Comino.
 
On Tuesday October 8, the Trojanettes secured another victory on the road. The final score ended up 13-0! Simone Sharpless had 3 goals. Frankie Liberati, Nina Lang, Lauren Mealie, Maria Pasquinelli, Allysandra DeGlau, Marina Camino, Kathleen Virostek, Mikaela Canzian, Maite Lopez Foubert, and Erika Mitchell all had one goal. A shutout was achieved for the backline and all 3 GK's, Marina Comino, Riley Marsico and Sami Smallwood!
 
On Wednesday October 9, the Trojanettes defeated Valley at home. The game resulted in a 10-1 victory! The goals came from Simone Sharpless (4), Kathleen Virostek (1), Lauren Mealie (1), Frankie Liberati (1), Mikaela Canzian (1), Allysandra DeGlau (1), and Marina Comino (1).
 
Next up for the Trojanettes is a match up against Pine Richland on Monday October 14. The game will be held at Pine Richland High School. Kick off is at 7:30pm.
