Cranberry Twp, PA - The Trojanettes enter the 2026 season with a youthful but determined roster featuring four freshmen, four juniors, and one sophomore. Leading the way is junior captain
Clare Kotwica, a versatile two-way player who will contribute both in the circle and behind the plate after hitting .316 last season.
Joining her in the rotation is junior Kennedy Brown, who returns after finishing in the top ten in the WPIAL in strikeouts while also batting .355. Speed and athleticism highlight the outfield, where Dakota Hicks and Juliana Lehman look to track down everything hit their way. At the top of the lineup, sophomore shortstop Mary Kotwica will set the tone as the team's leadoff hitter.
With a scrappy playing style, strong team chemistry, and a talented freshman class stepping in early, the group is confident it can compete in a challenging section and catch opponents by surprise. The team showed early promise in a recent scrimmage against Burrell, pounding out 15 hits in a commanding 16–4 victory.
